A+ School of Excellence – 2018-2021
The Arizona Educational Foundation has named Trailside Point A+ Schools of Excellence.™ The program recognizes schools that demonstrate high achievement while identifying and meeting the academic and non-academic needs of their student population. Trailside Point submitted an application describing their programs and practices, parent and community involvement, and their commitment to excellence, equity, and service. The A+ School of Excellence™ selection committee; comprised of award-winning principals, teachers and community leaders; visited the school in March 2018. Trailside Point was presented with $500 and a banner designating it as an A+ School of Excellence.™ This is the second time Trailside Point has received this distinction.

PBIS Gold Achievement Award – 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
Trailside Point received the Gold PBISaz Achievement Award for demonstrating high fidelity Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports (PBIS) implementation and student outcomes at the annual Behavior Education Technology Conference. Trailside implemented PBIS four years ago. Since their Panther P.A.C.T was launched, they have significantly improved social skills and decreased the amount of time and resources needed to address behavioral problems, which ultimately has resulted in higher test scores and academic achievement.
No Place for Hate, 2018, 2019
Trailside Point has once again been designated as a No Place for Hate by the Arizona Anti-Defamation League. They are one of only 36 schools across the state that were recognized for creating safe learning environments, bringing awareness to the issues of bullying and bias, and promoting unity and respect. This initiative offers students, teachers, administrators and family members the opportunity to work together to enhance a culture of respect in the school community, encourages schools to complete various activities and projects to promote unity and reduce bullying, name-calling and other expressions of bias.
